Danish Photographer Søren Solkær Presents Striking Portraits of the World’s Street Artists

In a project that spanned three years and 13 cities, Danish photographer Søren Solkær has captured vivid portraits of more than 130 of the world’s most renowned street artists. Having to work around the anonymous facades of many of these street artists, Solkær nonetheless was able to portray the creators in their natural environment of alleyways, rooftops and studios, with the likes of Blek Le Rat, Swoon, Space Invader, D*Face and CYRCLE making notable appearances.

Enlisting the help of friends dropping by, some of whom were professional woodworkers and others having never done anything of the sort, the form of the octagonal, multi-level “Cinder Cone” treehouse gradually took shape over the course of 12 months.
